If the permit application is for a new tenant or an expansion or reduction of an existing tenant space, a tenant & use form must be submitted and approved prior to the Building and Zoning Department’s review of the plans.
The permit application should be as complete as
possible. If the building is a multi-tenant building, the proper suite
number is required.
A review of the plans can be conducted without
listing the contractors on the application. However, the permit will not
be approved until all contractors are listed on the application and the
village has copies of their licenses and/or bonds on file.
Four sets of signed and sealed architectural drawings are required to be submitted.
If the work involves any exterior work, four
copies of the Plat of Survey for the property must be submitted
showing the location of the exterior work, with dimensions.
