We are happy to announce the 8th year for the Buffalo Grove Farmers’ Market re-opens Sunday June 18th to October 8th 2017! We are fortunate to have such a popular market that nearly all our vendors from last year are returning and a few new ones will join us.
Our Farmers’ Market is a very social place to be every Sunday from 8am to 12.30pm. Rain or shine our vendors are there to sell the freshest produce grown locally in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Our farmers offer organic, certified organic, low spray and other options in growing their food. These farmers are readily available each week to answer any questions or ideas on how to prepare various fruits & vegetables.
This past mild winter has developed into an early spring which allowed the farmer’s to plant their crops early. This means for the Farmer’s Market we will see produce sooner and get to enjoy that famous ‘Mirai Corn’ before August!
In addition to farm fresh produce, our vendors offer: knife sharpening (garden tools too), mushrooms, cheese, meats, donuts, coffee, smoothies, breads, dog food and other treats.
Our family friendly location boasts public restrooms and bike racks. We have entertainment most Sundays and nonprofit booths for community groups.
The Village of Buffalo Grove has an ordinance that DOES NOT ALLOW dogs or other pets into the Farmer’s Market area. Service dogs are allowed if the owner has the certification paperwork.
The Buffalo Grove Farmers’ Market is run by community volunteers. Please stop by the information booth to meet them!
Potential vendors please review this year's Rules and Regulations and Application.
