BUFFALO GROVE POLICE INVESTIGATE OVERNIGHT ROBBERIES AT GAS STATION, PHARMACY

On Saturday, January 28 at approximately 2:25 a.m., Buffalo

Grove Police Officers responded to the Mobil gas station at 1251 N. McHenry Road in

Buffalo Grove to a reported aggravated robbery.


Two male suspects entered the gas station and ordered the clerk to open the cash

register. The suspects took approximately $50 in U.S. currency from the register and

fled on foot east of the building where they entered a vehicle.


While investigating this incident, a second aggravated robbery occurred at

approximately 3:50 a.m. at CVS Pharmacy, 20 E. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove.


In this incident, the same two suspects from the Mobil gas station robbery entered the

store and ordered the clerk to open the cash register. The suspects took approximately

$200 in U.S. currency and fled on foot east of the building where they entered a vehicle.

The two suspects are described as light skinned African American or Hispanic males,

approximately 5’7” to 6’0”, both with thin builds. Male suspect #1 was wearing a black

Chicago Bulls jacket with light colored sleeves with the word “BULLS” across the back,

blue jeans, and tan colored shoes. Male suspect #2 was wearing a dark colored hooded

sweatshirt, tan colored pants, black shoes with a white stripe on the side, and a dark

scarf across his face.


Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights Police Department K-9 teams assisted with the

investigation.


No injuries were reported during these incidents and evidence was recovered.
