Where can I find floodplain information?
The Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) regulates floodplain determinations. The Village keeps paper copies of the latest floodplain maps but the fastest and easiest way to get this information is to view the FEMA website. The Village will not make a determination as to whether or not a property is in the floodplain as the Village does not regulate this information. Residents can view the large paper copies of the floodplain maps at the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department, located on the second floor of the Public Works Service Center, 51 Raupp Boulevard, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 or review the FEMA website listed below.Click here for FEMA Map Service Center website
