Organic waste collection guidelines
From April 1-December 15, you are now able to mix in organic food waste with your landscape waste. This waste should be placed in an unlined, rigid 32-gallon waste containers, weighing no more than 45 pounds and labeled with a special organics decal, now available at Village Hall. If you have a container marked with a large "x" that you previously used for landscape waste, you can continue using that. Yard waste bags are acceptable, but not recommended when mixed with food due to durability and potential to attract animals.
