Village Assistance to BG Businesses
What is BG Delivers?
To support our local businesses, the Village of Buffalo Grove has created BGDelivers.org – an online business directory that is free for BG businesses!
How does BG Delivers Help Businesses?
The BG Delivers business directory will be promoted through the Village’s various marketing channels, including the weekly Enews, social media and Village newsletter, reaching out to more than 25,000 people.
How can Businesses Participate?
All Buffalo Grove businesses are invited to join BGDelivers by creating a business listing here. Business listings include information such as the business’s webpage, location, hours, sales/promotion, and social media. Businesses are responsible for maintaining and updating business information.
How can Residents and Community Members Participate?
All residents and community members are encouraged to participate in the cause and support our businesses by utilizing and sharing this directory!

The Village is partnering with restaurants to optimize outdoor dining this spring/summer and minimize the cost and labor associated with receiving permit approval. This includes temporarily waiving certain zoning and parking requirements to accommodate outdoor dining.

Starting in mid-March 2021, the Village kicked off its 'Here to Help' Campaign
The initiative includes unsolicited, friendly visits from our Health Inspectors (Peggy Starczowski and Brian Sheehan) to retail, commercial, and restaurant establishments to answer questions, help business think innovatively on how to operate within the State’s current mitigation standards, build relationships and make sure businesses are aware of key resources.

The Village is reducing Liquor License Fees for On-Premise Users by 50%. This is a continuation of financial assistance as this a 50% reduction of Liquor License Fees for on-premise users was also available in 2020.
State Mitigation Plan: Phase 4, Bridge Phase, and Phase 5
All of Buffalo Grove is currently in Phase 4.
On March 18th, Gov. Pritzker announced the trajectory of mitigation measures:

Illinois will move from Phase 4 to the Bridge Phase when 70% of the population 65 years and older has received at least one dose of vaccine. In addition, hospital ICU bed availability needs to be higher than 20%, and new COVID-19 hospital admissions, total COVID-19 patients in the hospital, and death rates are not increasing significantly statewide over the most recent 28 days.

Join BG Delivers! BGDelivers.org is now an online business directory, that will be advertised to more than 40,000 people! The directory is free for BG businesses to join!
Gov Pritzker announces "Bridge" Phase! On March 18th, Gov. Pritzker announced that there will be a 'Bridge Phase" between Phase 4 and 5. Read more on IDPH webpage and on this handout. Currently, all of Buffalo Grove is in Phase 4 .
