The new Woodman’s development expands over 25 acres and includes a Woodman's Food Market grocery store (over 242,000 square feet) and Woodman's gas station, convenience store, quick lube, and car wash.
The Shops of Buffalo Grove is currently under construction and includes over 43,000 square feet of new retail and office space. Some keys tenants include Starbucks, T-Mobile, Mod Pizza, Chase Bank and Panera Bread. Opening is projected to be Spring 2019.
The existing Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) medical offices at 15 S McHenry Road and 125 E Lake Cook Road are looking to redevelop into a new 4-story medical office building to accommodate NCH. The project would also include a 4,900 square foot retail component at the northwest part of the site. Plans are preliminary.
K. Hovnanian Homes is the contract purchaser and developer of the unincorporated 50 acres located at the former Link Farm. They have annexed the property into Buffalo Grove and proposing a residential development on the property that includes 68 clustered single-family detached homes and 119 2-story townhomes.
True North Energy, LLC (True North) recently purchased the Wooil Restaurant at 185 N Milwaukee. They are preparing to demolish the restaurant and construct a new Shell gas station and 3.500 sf convenience store.
The existing Cambridge Commons Shopping center is approximately 4.6 acres in area and is improved with 48,000 square foot retail building. The owners of the center have recently submitted plans for an entirely new facade, landscaping and signage to accommodate a prospective tenant (24 Hour Fitness).
Sky Fitness is currently under construction for a 35,000 square-foot 2-story building addition. The proposed improvements also include an outdoor swimming pool. Construction is expected to be completed in 2019.
